Cookie Policy
Effective date: 16 October 2026
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to keep and to send back on your next visit, which is how a site recognises a returning browser. Related technologies do similar things by other means: browser storage areas that hold data locally, tiny images loaded from another server so that the request itself is a record, and techniques that identify a browser from the combination of settings it reveals.
This site uses none of them. The list below is every technology checked for on hollowtier.online, with what each one is doing here.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. The pages are static files and no cookie is set by any of them.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. Nothing is loaded from another company's server, so no other company is in a position to set a cookie while you are here.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to it, which is why a checklist cannot remember a tick.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is kept for the duration of a tab.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. No database is created in your browser.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. No image, beacon or empty request is loaded from any third party for the purpose of recording a visit.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. No script reads your fonts, screen, hardware or settings to build an identifier.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The typefaces are the ones already on your device, and the only script is a short first-party file that opens the menu and triggers the print dialog.
- Server access logs
- Used. Our hosting provider records each request: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Entries are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
Why there is no banner
A consent banner asks permission to do something. There is nothing here to ask permission for: no cookie is set, no storage is written, no analytics or advertising runs, no social or video embed is present, and no session identifier exists. A banner on this site would be asking you to consent to something that is not happening, which would be untrue, so there is none.
What does happen
When you request a page, the hosting provider's server writes the log entry described above, as any web server does. That is the whole of it. Those entries are used for security, for preventing abuse and for diagnosing faults, and for nothing else. The Privacy Policy sets out who holds them, where, and for how long.
The checklists do not remember ticks
The squares beside the checklist items are printed shapes drawn by the stylesheet, not controls, and nothing is recorded when you look at them. Because there is no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no fingerprinting and no pixel, there is no mechanism by which this site could remember your progress even if it wanted to. The All checklists page prints to white paper for exactly this reason.
After you follow an affiliate link
Some links here are paid affiliate links, explained on the Affiliate Disclosure page. When you follow one, you leave this site. The affiliate network that operates the link and the game vendor at the other end may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains, under their own policies, typically to record that the referral came from here. GO-SERVIS group s.r.o. does not control those cookies, cannot read them, and does not receive them. If you want to know what they do, their own cookie notices are the place to look, and you should read them there before deciding whether to continue.
Blocking or clearing cookies
Every major browser lets you see what has been stored, delete it, and refuse more. The controls live in the browser's settings, usually under a heading such as privacy, security, site settings or site data, and they generally allow you to clear everything stored so far, to block cookies from other sites while allowing them from the site you are on, or to block them entirely. The browser's own help pages describe where those controls are in the version you are running. Nothing you do there will change how this site behaves, since it stores nothing either way.
If this ever changes
If a cookie or any similar technology is ever introduced on this site, this page will be rewritten first to say what it is, who sets it, what it does and how long it lasts, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before the first one is set. It will not be added quietly.
